Authors attacking reviewers...

Let's say you're an avid reader. You adore a good book. One day you purchase a book and read it.
You end up hating it.
In your opinion it's probably one of the worst books you've ever read. So what do you do? You write a review. There can be many reasons why you write it, but you do. After you post it online you leave it for others to read. That should be the end of it.
But sometimes it's not.
Lately I've noticed a trend where people are starting to attack reviewers for giving bad reviews, recommending other books in the review, or commenting on the author's writing.
This has to stop.
Books are for entertainment.
Books are products that are bought with money.
Money some people barely have.
If the purchase doesn't live up to an individuals expectations they have a right to voice their opinions. No matter what. As an author I want my reviewers to give honest feedback, if that means "this book was written poorly and the characters are unrealistic " so be it. I hate seeing authors replying negatively or rudely to a review simply because a reviewer didn't like their work. Not only is it immature but it has the potential to damage the author's reputation.
Not everyone will love your work.
Bad reviews should be expected no matter what. No book is entirely perfect.
In the video below this girl is sort of discussing how reviewers are being attacked for giving bad book reviews. I agree with everything she says.
