Done With The Dumbledore Stuff For Now

It just feels weird, my inbox is full of people saying the same few things over and over:

1) It would make Dumbledore only about being gay (what?)

2) It would be hamfisted (how do we know?)

3) Harry didn’t observe this (he has to watch Dumbledore have sex to know this?)

4) It’s there if you look for it, in the subtext (maybe, but so what?)

5) I JUST THINK IT WOULD BE WEIRD!

None of these are good excuses to me. If they make sense to you, fine, but I don’t want to keep answering them forever.

I think saying he was gay AFTER when she knew all along is a shame. I don’t judge her harshly for her choices, I love the book.

But it would have been nice.
