Revising and Writing

Hey all. Sorry for the silence. There’s not much to report right now, but here’s a little update on things:

1.) I should be getting first round edits for Over the River soon and I’m working on the book trailer, which will hopefully be up by the first week of September. I’m also going to try and put up a playlist for OtR, as this book had a definite soundtrack to it!

2.) I’m also polishing up Ghost Book 2 as well as writing on ZombieYA. Both books are coming along nicely and I’m hoping to have GB2 ready for submission by the end of next week. I’m about 3/4 of the way through this round of revisions right now.

I’m actually revising what I have written on ZombieYA before continuing with the rest of the story. Normally I wouldn’t do this- books do not get written if you edit as you write!- but this story got derailed somewhere in the first one hundred pages and I can’t seem to write the rest of it, which means I have to fix what I have to get the story back on track.

3.) I’ve started writing Ghost Book 3. The first chapter is written

4.) I’m currently reading Magic Rises by Ilona Andrews and White Trash Zombie Apocalypse by Diana Rowland. I highly recommend both series for those who love Urban Fantasy.

5.) I went to see The Conjuring and LOVED it! While some of it was predictable, there were some well done scares and the slow-built tension was spot on. The acting was fantastic! I highly recommend this movie who love the old school horror. This one feels like it was out of the 70s and I just cannot say enough good things about it
