Hello Miss. Simone I loved the Mirror so I was wondering what inspire you to create this villain?

I wanted Barbara to face a villain who was just a bruiser, a hardcore guy with high end espionage skills and a fist that’ll crack a skull.

In the right light, Mirror isn’t THAT different from someone like, say, the Punisher, a brutal guy who deals out his idea of justice, even if it kills people.

Barbara is the opposite of that. And being in a slightly shaky, slightly vulnerable position, I wanted her to have an opponent of ABSOLUTELY CERTITUDE in his actions.

So she had to rally herself to fight him. Remember, she’d been out of the game for three years. This was almost like her first case!
