But i make a point of that because I think you are saying you are concerned about making a female character “weird” for fear of how it will be perceived.



Don’t be.



Female readers don’t get mad over great female villains. Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Black Cat, Harley, these characters are all “weird” in ways that COULD be considered sexist, but because they are also great characters, they are as popular with women as they are with men.



Just make your characters great.
