In a previous blog I said I would try to start posting a poem from a famous poet instead of boring you with my poetry. I happened to find a poem from someone that you would usually associate with his popular fantasy books. This author wrote 'The Hobbit' and 'The Lord of the Rings." J.R.R. Tolkien, the poet, also wrote this poem.
ROADS GO EVER ON AND ON
Roads go ever on and on,
Over rock and under tree,
By caves where sun has never shone,
By streams that never find the sea;
Over snow by winter sown,
And through the merry flowers of June,
Over grass and over stone,
And under mountains in the moon.
Until next time, take care! Marc
