For years aspiring writers were told “Don’t query me with anything that puts a child in harm’s way.”
For as many years since, I have watched as best-selling author after best-selling author produces what will most assuredly be best-selling content about a child in harm’s way.
So why *exactly* did (do?) agents and editors constantly say not to do it? It’s obviously what EVERYBODY wants. See: any movie, any book.
Blah.
