I was thrilled when they came out with ereaders....my eyesight has become an issue...and the larger the font the happier my eyes are and the less headaches to suffer...I, too, have bought more ebooks than paperbacks/hardcovers....arthritis in the hands made holding books a real pain....and ebooks so often have freebies to get indie authors out there to the readers...currently I have nearly 11,000 ebooks...lol...I read fast and everyday...and I tell myself that if I don't get it...then I might not get to read it...have I read all 11,000...hell no...I would need to be Cerberus! Anyway...I am with you all the way about the convenience of ebooks and ereaders...although I mostly just use my laptop and the Kindle pc app to read.

Teri, I think you and I were separated at birth (which is too bad, because as conjoined twins - we could really knock out a lot of books!)!
ditto, ditto, ditto, ditto .... add to that my business travel where I no longer need a second suitcase just for my books. I freakin' love my kindle.
So true Maureen! I always agonized over which books to pack, and then I couldn't get into the ones I brought so I'd buy more at the airport and have more to lug home.
True true all of it true! I need to purchase stock in the places I download books from! I would NEVER have found the delightful books I have been able to find without using an e-reader (I have a Nook which my husband bought me because he was tired of all the books around the house..little does he know the $$ I spend NOW! LOL)I have been "led" to SO many new authors and new adventures! Now all I pretty much want to do is READ!!! There is NOTHING like being able to choose a new book and have it in your hands immediately!!! AND...the Bombay series is a prime example!!! :)
Have to admit I didn't think I'd read more books when I downloaded the Kindle app to my phone, but now I read all the time. Love the fact that I always have the books with me, I read in lunch-breaks, while waiting for the bus - every time I have a few minutes to kill... And I've got more than a few "she must be crazy" looks when I laugh out loud while reading the Bombay- books :D
