Creator Owned Projects

It’s been 4 days since I did my marathon run on the X-Men: Battle of the Atom. I’ve penciled and inked 15 pages in 10 days.

During that run, I’ve slept about 3 hours a day and ate 1 meal a day. I’ve lost 7 pounds when it was all said and done, plus gained some gray hair for the experience.

Now after 3 days of sleeping and eating, I’m slowly recuperating and had time to reflect. I’m at the height of my creative power and skills. I decided it’s best for me to use my talents on my own creator-owned projects.

I’m still under Marvel contract and will fulfill my obligations but I’ll be more judicious in selecting my future projects with Marvel.

Today, I’m dusting off few creator-owned projects that I’ve shelved and restarted them.

The first of these creator-owned projects will be spotlighted in November. Look for a major Kickstarter announcement after Thanksgiving.
