Technocracy: ‘Escape From New York’ — While You Still Can!

My WND Technocracy column this week is about the lamentable fact that, as of this writing, Eliot Spitzer and Anthony Weiner are front-runners for positions of comptroller and mayor in New York City.

Not since Mayor Marion Barry became … well, Mayor Marion Barry, again, have we seen such astounding hubris in, not one, but two public figures.

Both men are perverts who were disgraced and forced to step down.  Spitzer should have gone to prison for engaging in prostitution, especially as he was tasked with enforcing the very laws he was breaking.  Now both men feel entitled to political office.

Let’s not forget, too, that Weiner in particular was a horrible person BEFORE we discovered he was also a dick-pic-taking cretin.  He is a vile, amoral progressive who goes after conservatives at every opportunity.

Spitzer, for his part, was almost universally despised as a human being before his scandal broke — but people forget that because the blind idiot who took power after Spitzer was far worse as a governor.
