Link Roundup and Cool Stuffs

I have always loved when bloggers do a round-up of cool things they found that week. It makes me feel a little more aware, like I'm missing out on a little bit less of all the awesomeness out there. Don't know if it's going to be a Thing, like every week, but sometimes. So here's some cool stuffs I found :)


Article in Forbes, "How I Convinced My 8 Year Old To Choose Books Instead of Minecraft." Cool ideas for sure, but more then that, a neat discussion on children's literacy in general.Publication Alert: All Our Pretty Songs by Sarah McCarry. Been seeing it around the interwebz and it looks pretty freaking awesome. Neil Gaiman even tweeted it!Post by Lisa Hall Wilson on the blog of the ever-wise Kristen Lamb, all about what really works for writers on Facebook.Another ever-wise blog gal, Jane Friedman, talks about why small press can actually be a pretty excellent option.Just a few goodies for you today. Also here's another video poem thing I did :v I have fun, what can I say. This one has become my favorite, actually.
