I'm sure I'm not alone in wondering. Here, in Central Ontario, it was cooler than usual, lovely for sleeping, with enough rain to keep our ponds from drying out as they did last year. Yay! I would appreciate a warmer August, should it happen, for reading outside in the evening without need for a sweater. But that's pretty picky.
On the writing front, did a short sf murder/mystery in the subgenre I call "dawning realization of big oopsie." I've sent it out. If it sells anywhere I'll let you know. That took up a week or so. Then there were family visits (always joyful), work on the cover for A PLAY OF SHADOW. Matt Stawicki (
http://www.mattstawicki.com) will be working on that this September! Goosebumplies!!!
The rest of my July? Poof! I know I worked on PLAY and other projects. Kept up with administration and sundry stuff. The month just flew by.
Hello, August!
