took longer than I thought it would to publish on Amazon I wanted to give
Dealing With Discipline
plenty of time to come out... and it ended up being available a day early!!! YAYNESS!!!!
Someone asked about a freebie day on my previous posts, I'm not doing those for the Domestic Discipline Quartet. The main reason I did it for previous stories is because of their connection to Literotica and I felt that it was wrong to have a story with a connection to a free website not have a day when people could get it for free. Since these books have no connection with the website they don't get freebie days. I really hope that doesn't mean people won't shun me... but you know, I am trying to make a living here as well =)
If you're wondering about the pricing... the way Amazon does it is the author gets 35% of the royalties for books priced below $2.99. You may notice I still have a lot of 99 cent books, although again those mostly have something to do with Literotica even though they've been edited/expanded. Anything that I charge $2.99 or more for I get 70% of the royalties. This is obviously a HUGE difference for me personally. I may eventually start writing under another pen name that will charge more, but as long as I'm writing as G. Angel those books will always be $2.99 or less even if they're full length books (like this one) - unless Amazon changes its criteria. I'm doing my best to balance my needs vs. wanting to make my work available for as many people as possible, which means pricing it as cheaply as I can while still making sure that I earn the majority of the royalties.
Anyway... hopefully I didn't put a damper on this blog post with money talk. I can't even describe how excited I am to have another book out, and especially for this series which are my first books written entirely outside of Literotica. YAY! It's an incredibly satisfying feeling. I'm really happy with the way this one came out and very much looking forward to the next one...
