She's not supposed to look like that...!!! Why do authors always put an image to the character of a book? It ruins it sometimes for the reader (100% of the times) when they imagine someone who looks... different.

I don't think the author did it herself, she has it linked from another source. Besides, tons of books have pics of the main characters on them.
