You turn on the app, request a black sedan and you're off to your next destination (with a minor price variance from a taxi). It's a company that is explicitly tied to the collaborative economy and one of the emerging companies that many people are looking to as the future of business. Travis Kalanick, the CEO of Uber, speaks at Fortune Magazine's 2013 Brainstorm Tech conference.
