How to improve your internet presence, brand yourself!

S o ever since I've released my novel I've been pouring over the internet trying to figure out cheap and free ways to spread the news about my book. Social Media platforms have become my best friend, but I will confess I'm still trying to figure out the point of twitter for the general public. I did follow some of the tips and doubled my followers on Twitter in the matter of a few hours, 10 to 21 woot woot I'm on  a roll right? Anyways here's what I've found to work the best, find groups that are in your niche and tweet something to them, hashtag it up! Tell people where you re located, just putting the city works pretty well, and repeat often. At 10 followers a day I've got my work cut out for me if I'm to reach the goal of 5,000, but hey I figure if I put in as much time and effort as I did at my old job I'm sure to be a success, and by the time I have the fans and followers lining up by the thousands it should be time for another free promo on KDP, see I do have a plan. I'll keep you posted how well it works out for me winky face ;)
