It's wonderful to "meet" you Carol! I loved your book and have loaned it out so others, too, can love it. I live on the opposite end of California from Los Angeles. Just wanted you to know there are fans up here about a 14 hour drive from where you'll be speaking when you're on the West Coast. Easier for me to get to Portland, Oregon. Perhaps you should offer to speak at Powell's Books in Portland? A girl can hope!

I hope people all over the world will find this amazing book! I bought my copy while I was in England this spring but I hope people here in Finland will also get to know it.
If you make it down to Atlanta, I'd love to get the chance to meet you! Congrats on the NYT Bestseller List, your book definitely deserves all the acclaim it can get :).
YES!!! You're coming to Illinois! I'm so going to be there. Tell The Wolves I'm Home has become my all time favorite book. I think the message is just so powerful and this book actually made me become extremely emotionally attached to each character. I hope when I see you you won't mind signing my copy. It would be a dream come true! Can't wait to see you! -Rebecca
I read your book from France and was enchanted by the writing, as well as the original storyline; It was just such a heartfelt, refreshing read, eventhough the subject matter was far more complicated. I LOVED IT! I told (FB, GOODREADS, e-mails) people about how wonderful it was and many from the States got back to me (NY, CA, OR) to thank me for the great recommendation.I will be in the LA area until the 20th, but the Beverly Hills one is not within my budget as from the 21st of Oct we will be in San Francisco for my daughter’s wedding! Maybe in the couple of weeks time we are playing tourist from my other daughter’s house we could manage to see you somewhere. I will cross my fingers!!!
I'm from Finland, too, and just want to tell you that your book is appreciated all over the world. I bought my copy in Scotland and I absolutely love it. Thank you for writing such a beautiful novel.
Hope you can make it to the Pacific Northwest (US) one day! I read your book last year, and really connected with the characters. One of my favorite reads in 2012. Looking forward more of you work!
Wish you could make it to DC - Politics and Prose, maybe? I'd bring my entire writer's group. As a former ballet dancer, I lost many friends to AIDs. And they were often marginalized and/or shunned. I had one friend burst into tears when I hugged him. No one in his family would touch him. Your book humanized it so well. And I love the little girl. Please come our way!
I hope you can find a spot in NYC to do a reading! I will be there if you do! Tell the Wolves I'm Home is my favorite book of 2013 so far.
I would love to see you somewhere in the Lehigh Valley (PA)...Allentown? Bethlehem? There are a ton of great colleges and universities around, and I'm sure any of them would be thrilled to have you. I'd even drive down to Philadelphia.
I am reading your book right now and can't put it down! I hope while you are in the NYC area that you can venture down to Philadelphia. There are many wonderful bookstores there and I would love the chance to meet you. The Free Library of Philadelphia (Vine St. branch) hosts many authors and events.
Aww I just looked at the lake forest book store's website. Is it really going to be at 10am? Ill sadly be in class at that time. I hope it changes. If not have a wonderful time in Chicago. Maybe i can see you another time. Always love hearing from you. -Becca
Thank you so much for all the suggestions and for all the lovely comments! So many places, so little time. I've managed to get in only one more event--Darien Library, Darien, CT 4pm Oct. 10th. You can find links to all the events on my website:www.carolrifkabrunt.com
Becca- The Lake Forest event is at 11:30. It's a luncheon, so will probably go for a couple hours. Here's the link:

I'm going to stop into the store after the luncheon and I'm also going to stop by The Book Stall in Winnetka, IL later in the afternoon to sign stock for them.
I'll be looking back at this list next time I'm planning a trip over and hopefully I can get to a few places I'll miss this time round.
Okay, time to get packing...
Hi Carol, I am the YA librarian at the Three Rivers, MI library. I was just preparing to write a review of your book for our library newsletter and decided to click on your name for a little background info. Lo and behold, here you come to Kalamazoo which is only about 40 minutes away! So glad you are making the long trip to the U.S. and I look forward to attending. Thank you for a wonderful book.
Carol,How about Bookpeople, in Austin, Texas?
BTW, I just finished reading your book on my e reader....and
Bought several copies at Bookpeople to give to my daughters and to keep a "real" copy for me! I loved it!
