Back In the Saddle Again...Sort Of
So it's been a whirlwind couple of weeks! :) I've been through six different states, two time zones and more towns than I can count. But it's been a great break and our little family enjoyed traveling to see my grandma and then going to my hubby's family reunion. I had a terrific birthday, saw old places and new-to-me places and added keychains to my collection. In fact, I think I'm going to need more corkboard. :) It was great seeing aunts, uncles and cousins and being able to explore with them.
Now that I'm home again, it's time to get back into writing. I was able to add another 2000 words to my "Prince Charming's Search" manuscript. Now I know what you're thinking. "In ten days that's all you got done? That's normally your daily average!" Well, yes that's true. But on vacation I usually don't have the time or motivation to write much. But I was able to have a couple days with short breaks where I wrote feverishly until the next activity or the kids needed me. So getting that much done was pretty good for me. Now I'm in catch-up mode and will be working to make up for lost time. It was time well spent and it was great seeing my kids play and enjoy themselves. But it's good to be back home. Between the unpacking, the cleaning and laundry, I'm finding time to write again. Soon my word goal will be all caught up and I'll hopefully be pushing beyond it.
But now it's time for some writing so I'll jump back in that storyline saddle.
