Last night I stayed up till 4:45am reading GRACELING, which I somehow missed when it came out. I haven't read high fantasy in a while-- it was a fantastic refresher. Only now I'm thinking "Maybe I SHOULD go to BEA after all..." solely so I can pick up a copy of Cashore's new book, FIRE. And Maggie's SHIVER. And Kaleb's BRAN HAMBRIC. Is it weird if I pay almost $700 to go to BEA just for advance books? Because...um...I want to.
