Jeff Carlson You know you're the man!!

Andrew Pollack Pre-ordered. I just finished "Neptune's Brood" (Charles Stross) and have new stuff to read from Evan Currie, Jay Allen, Ryk Brown, Ian M. Banks, and Alastair Reynolds -- all of whom are on my top authors list. For the first time in a long while, I'm falling behind... Damn work...

Jeff Carlson Andrew, YOU know you're the man! Ha. The obvious solution is to quit your job, sell your wife, quit showering, eat only Top Ramen dry from the packaging, and read read read read read, although I do not necessarily endorse such behavior... ;P

Andrew Pollack ha. It would beat writing javascript json frameworks for the new website interrupted randomly with calls to head for the fire station and jump on a truck.... but only until the money ran out.

Andrew Pollack Just finished the new Evan Curie (great storyline, but he needs to spend more time editing. the typos and grammar issues will piss off many small minded people)

message 7: by Jeff (new)

Jeff Carlson No large-minded typos? :)

message 8: by Andrew (new)

Andrew Pollack Naw, you know what I mean. With newer authors, especially self published ones, you'll see people just rip apart a book in Amazon reviews and give the only explanation as poor editing with lots of typos.
