The Friday Five!
1. Okay, seriously: it will NOT STOP raining here. I can’t remember such a soggy summer in, well, EVER. The ground is saturated, the sun has gone totally MIA, and all my tomatoes are getting moldy. Honestly! On the upside (always look for the upside!) we are getting a lot of use out of our rainboots while jumping in puddles. It helps that our entire YARD is a puddle, for the most part. Makes the jumping so much easier when you can, you know, basically just walk and make it happen. Most summer...

Sarah u by far are so lucky here in Baton Rouge it is so hot that my tan got a tan!!! just by sitting IN THE SHADE!!! for about an hour OH AND I HATE HATE HATE SUPER HOT WEATHER!!!

Isn't the smell of rain just fantastic, though? And the cool weather the precipitation brings with it? Don't complain about the rain (see that, yeah, I rhymed. Future poet over here!) Be grateful for it, and all of the big, seemingly horrible things on Earth. You were talking about the upsides to the rain, there's definitely more than just that! Keep thinking, right? Always keep your creativity flowing. :)
I live in Mebane, and today is the 22nd consecutive day it has rained.
God!! but you should see here where i live it's too hot you can't step out of the house from noon to 4 pm
