Arphid Watch: RFID Apps

*Kind of a nice primer and overview here. Interesting that there's not a word breathed in here about the tremendous, earth-shaking, top-down imposition of RFID from Wal-Mart and the Pentagon, during the middle of the last decade. It's like that colossal effort has simply been forgotten, and RFID is being re-adapted by the smartphone crowd. Not as a military/retail Internet of Things, but as a networkable app.
