I’m reblogging this because it’s a really important read. I say this as someone who will continue to watch the show and read the series. I say this as an author of fantasy who doesn’t always get it right when it comes to diversity or feminism or any of the other things I value. You can love something and still be critical of it, and this is a moment that requires criticism.
