Dangers of rebelling against the Writing Order

So, between today and yesterday I canned a scene. Nothing special about that, except that this scene doesn’t happen for, oh, two to three more chapters yet.

*Gasp!* It’s the first time I’ve written a scene without following their proper order. I usually start a book by typing Chapter one, and wrap it up with The end. I wrote what came next, not what I wanted to see… and now, feeling all daring, I’ve broken that rule of order.
