YOU are MY Problem!
Today’s Boston Globe had an article entitled “UN agency reports domestic violence at ‘epidemic’ levels.” It went on to say that across the world, it is estimated that one-third of women have been abused at one point or another.
Assuming that most of these women are abused by the people who purport to “love” them, such as a spouse, boyfriend, father or male friend, what could possibly explain this statistic? Why would someone lash out at a person they were supposed to care for?
