A few book recommendations
Some books that I have read recently that you might want to try:
It can be hard trying to find good books with all the free ones and thousands being published daily. Often we have to read a few not-so-good ones before we find the true gems.
All of the above books stood out to me as exceptional and well worth my time. I hope you'll try one or two of them.

Hahaha! Everyone has to have some vices, Darcia ;) I've just downloaded another 5 books today, with nearly 500 unread on my Kindle... I need help LOL
I think I toppled over the 1,000 unread ebooks some time ago. I'm afraid to look. I have another 100 or so print books on my shelves that I've yet to read. I am in serious need of intervention. Or, even better, we need a reading retreat. A nice log cabin on a warm lake, huddled between the mountains would be a perfect place to sort through our to-read lists!
Oh, that would be amazing. As soon as one of us becomes a bestselling author that's what we'll do LOL!

I had to force myself to dedicate part of each weekend to at least trying to start one, in a major reading rut right now.
A week at the beach or mountains with lazy afternoons to read, sigh, would be lovely.
And more for my reading list. You take great pleasure in ensuring my to-read list goes on forever!
