Just to show some process. Here was a Ripcord prelim sketch I did for the
GI JOE:Battleground game. I was surprised when they accepted it and took it as final art. A large part of the game is a variety of art styles. They have a traditional comic book style, which is why I think I was brought into the project, and they have a more finished digitally painted style. In the digital paintings, all they really needed was this underdrawing, and they did the finishes. So there are some pieces in the game I forgot that I actually drew, because the finishing style is so different than how I typically see my artwork.
So what I meant to just be a prelim drawing, ended up being accepted right away and I just moved on to the next character in the list.
