Barricade GI JOE:Battleground art...

Another process shot of a character from the new GI JOE: Battleground iphone/ipad game. I would typically get a reference pdf for each of these characters. It would give me the uniform details and weapons the character would have. Sometimes even poses are laid out for me. In this case, I really didn't know who this character was. He first showed up in the early 90's and by then I wasn't really buying the GI Joe toys. So luckily I was given some great reference to get this one done.
You can see below that I have a basic underdrawing or prelim done. They would sometimes give me slight revisions, in this case just repositioning his gun.
