So this tells the story of Kerilyn, a demon hunter whose entire family has been killed by the people she hunts. It’s Halloween and every year for the past nine years, Arawn – The Lord of Shadows – has been waiting just beyond the gates of her house. Kerilyn cant help but be tempted by his good looks and smouldering glances but denies herself the opportunities to get to know him, knowing he is more than likely only after killing her like his brother has killed the rest of her family. When her niece is taken by Arawn’s brother, she has no choice but to go beyond the protected gate and to go up against the demon that haunts her thoughts and his evil brother.

I really enjoyed this book!

Maybe it was the sexiness of Arawn and his obvious desire for Kerilyn. Though we see everything from Kerilyn’s side it was fairly obvious he wanted her and he had a sneaky way of going about it

There was a fair amount of action in it too and I found myself willing them on in the end.

It may have been short but it certainly kept me entertained.
