Nice pictures and fun description. I especially enjoyed the dykes on bikes... well I am a "biker" so any time I see a strong proud woman riding her own bike I always give an enthusiastic thumbs up. I would love to hear more about your trip. Where else did you two go? Good luck with your dream to move to SF. :)

By the way, I am sure I am not your normal target audience, but I have read a couple of your stories so far and I thoroughly enjoyed them both. I look forward to reading more of your stories. :)
I purchased the Highrise Collection today, so I will be reading those stories very soon. I plan on reading all of your stories as time permits. Would it be helpful for me to submit reviews of these stories on Amazon?

First stop: Portland. The wine was delicious and the views astonishing.
Although PDX Pride was a little underwhelming (except for the dykes on bikes, of course).
Next, we took the train to LA. A 30 hour long journey with views like this. Bliss.
We stayed in West Hollywood, which is very gay (but I couldn’t find Bette Porter or the CAC anywhere!)
This was the golden pimp mobile in which we drove from LA to San Francisco.
My wife has a soft spot for Death Cab For Cutie so we had to cross the Bixbie Canyon Bridge multiple times (while playing the song).
We witnessed a bunch of elephant seals snoring (very loudly) on the beach.
And then we fell in love with Big Sur.
We stayed in a cabin in the woods and read lesbian fiction by the fire.
And then, just when I thought the trip couldn’t get any better, we arrived in San Francisco.
And the pride parade was literally endless (what with all the apps marching along).
We drank a lot of those and, as the night progressed and we dared to dream bigger and bigger, we plotted our move to San Francisco.
