Sorry, Conan, the transgender joke didn’t work for me.  It didn’t work for me as a comic book reader, either.  A shame, since, you know, you work for the same massive corporation as DC Comics—and probably have a lot of transgender viewers. 

[Yeah, I’m watching a re-run—the joke didn’t work the first time I saw your episode, and it doesn’t work now.]

That joke really made me sad.
