I started a new job this week, and on my first day at work I came across this poem, framed and hanging on a wall in one of the rooms in my new workplace. I wanted to share it. Some of you may already know of the poem as I understand it's quite famous, but the wording is the sort of thing that can be read again and again. I really like it, especially the lines:
'You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here, and whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.'I was interested to read that the poet was also a lawyer (like myself). This poem didn't become famous until after his death.
