Why is it that we can have victory over sin in one area of our lives, but fall prey to it in another? Victory over gossip. Failure in pride. Victory over lust. Failure in anxiety. Often times, it is because we are trying, in and of ourselves, to conquer our own problems and struggles. But Christ didn’t die so that we could simply go to heaven when we die – He also died so that He could make us more than conquerors in every area of our lives.
