Good fences make good neighbors

We have a huge yard. And a huge dog. This is Boomer. He’s a fat and somewhat lazy German shepherd beast—130 lbs of fat and lazy, to be exact. He might look scary, but he’s quite the baby. He’s afraid of the dishwasher when it’s open. He’s afraid of the laundry room. And he’s afraid of his farts.

However, despite his big-baby tendencies, some of our neighbors are a little afraid of him. His bark is quite ferocious, even though all he wants is someone to acknowledge him.
