Life threw Elana a curveball...

Her mother died in Iowa and she was left to fend for herself with an abusive and drunken father who could care less about her well being. After years of heartache and pain she graduated from high school and moved to Florida to go to college with her best friend Tiffany.

A new beginning...

That’s where she met Jaxon. He was everything she didn’t need. He was a cocky, tattooed, and a beer drinking musclehead. He was the type of guy that she normally would have avoided given her circumstances but when he offers her a bed to sleep on she can't say no.

She never thought that she would discover they weren't much different from one another and that he had his own secrets and scars he didn’t want revealed to anyone...

Jordin thank you so much for agreeing to spend some time at Into the Night Reviews today.

Let’s start with your career as a ghost writer. How many books did you write in that capacity? And are you prepared to share your ghost writing name?
I did about seven books that were all romance. The agreement was that I couldn’t say the authors and titles but I did write under Jordin Williams on a couple freelance websites. Of course my name doesn’t show up on the books.

What’s been the biggest difference with writing Amazingly Broken and the books you wrote as a ghost writer?
It made me really nervous because it’s my real name on the line now. Before, it was up to the client to fix the story up. Now I had to do it myself.

What was your inspiration for Amazingly Broken?

Every book I love usually has awesome guys. I took all of them and merged them into Jaxon. For Elana, it was my past minus Jaxon.
Did you have someone in mind when you wrote Jaxon? Any pictures you’re willing to share with us? Jaxon would be someone like Hunter Parrish with muscles.

What about Elana – have you cast her in your mind? Elana would probably be Alexandra Chando with some curls.

We hear stories about how some writers have to have certain things or be in certain places to get their writing mojo on – what are the things you have to have to able to write productively?

My cat off the keyboard and COFFEE!

I know from other authors I’ve interviewed that they’ve usually got a couple of stories bouncing around in their head at any given time – have you got plans for your next book yet and can you give us any hints on what to expect?

Well I’m in the planning stages of a book for her best friend. Something tragic happens to her boyfriend.

If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

Heart, funny, obnoxious
Okay – so just to get a little bit more insight to you – pick one of the following:
Paperback or e-book?      Paperback White, Milk or Dark chocolate?      Dark chocolate White or Red wine?      Red
Sleeping in or Staying up late?      Staying up late
Summer or Winter?      Summer Facebook or Twitter?      Twitter

Jordin thanks so much for sharing Amazingly Broken with us and for taking the time out to chat with us today – it’s been an absolute pleasure!

Jordin Williams is a 26 year old ghostwriter turned author. She lives in Iowa and has always loved to sit down and read a good book. When she started ghostwriting books they would become popular even though she was never given any credit so she decided to write her own book, Amazingly Broken.
