Picking Up Pieces

Once again I am reminded of the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz, when he says: “They tore off my arms and threw them over there…they tore off my legs and threw them over there…and ripped out my chest and threw it over there.” I laugh, because I have often felt that way in my life, and now here I am again.

Holly So sorry to hear about this! Falling back on advice you have given me- remember to take care of yourself. I know you strive fir balance in your life, but as you've experienced things get a bit lopsided when a loved one is ill. Make time to write, garden and connect with loved ones. Sending positive, healing thoughts.

Curtiss Matlock Thank you, Holly. I can't hear that too much. Sometimes it is hard to tell yourself, but it is truth. I can only help others, when I use the oxygen mask first myself. :) We're makin' it!
