New Sketchbook Cover Image

I just got the final colored cover image from my new colorist, Pez, and all I can say is “Wow”. He really knocked it out of the park. I love the light and shadow on the figure and how he painted the fur on the lion. I’ve already got him working on the next pin-up.

On the sketchbook front, it’s a tight race. I’m trying to have the Jungle Queen themed sketchbook ready for San Diego Comic-Con next month, but I need to finish up two pieces to fill the 64 page sketchbook. I might have to skip the inking stage and put in the unfinished pencil image to meet the deadline.

Decisions. Decisions.
