Slacker

Eugh. I haven’t posted anything significant in a while. I’m slacking, big time. But, in my defense, I believe I warned you in my opening blog post. Regardless, apologies are due, although I have no real reason other than the fact that it has been sunny which only means bedlam in Britain, and I really don’t have much to report. I’m currently waiting on Forget Me Not’s book cover and then I’m hoping to get the publishing ball rolling.

While I  wait, impatiently, I have finished the first draft of my second book – name undecided – and have begun the editing process. I think it will take a while as there is so much more I feel needs adding and tweaking. As well as this I am storyboarding my third and mentally organising my fourth. I believe this is what is called ‘getting ahead of ones self.’ But I don’t care. I need to keep writing to keep the creative juices flowing. If I don’t then I fear I will seize up and curse the days when my mind worked freely.

As soon as Forget Me Not is released I will begin working on publishing the second, as I’ve learned, the whole process is rather lengthy and I’m pretty impatient to just get my stories out there.
