In my head the Darkling looks like Aro from Twilight.They seem to have the same smooth but scary way about them.Look at what happened to Baghra and Genya.Compare that with the fact that the Voltari's receptionist was killed-by Aro's command, over spelling and grammar and these are two hot but lethal beings.
