An excerpt from the book entitled Entice Me! by James Gordon
At her apartment, Leslie placed her phone back in the cradle and reclined in her bed. She felt a little guilty about asking Sidney to come over and look at her sink. In truth, there was nothing wrong with it. Her real intention was to invite him over and hopefully entice him into making love to her.
In the past, she kept Sidney at arms distance. She realized that asking him to come over to her place under the ruse of looking at her sink was a sudden and gutsy move. In fact, she’d never done anything like this before. She would certainly have some explaining to do because when she made her move he was going to get mixed messages. That will be a very awkward conversation, explaining why all this time she kept her distance and now she was ready for some T.L.C.
Despite the discomfort, she was going to go through with her intentions. She liked Sidney for some time, from the moment she saw him, in fact. He was good looking, built and had a great sense of humor; all the things she liked in a man. He’d given her ample opportunities to go out with him, but she simply could not muster the nerve to do so.
Even though she knew most men considered her to be an attractive woman, Leslie was extremely shy and if she really liked a guy, like she did Sidney, she would often unravel, making herself look foolish in front of them. She couldn’t bear it if that were to ever happen in front of Sidney.
When he would call her and his deep, masculine voice seeped through her receiver, her body trembled and her insides melted. His baritone-soaked words literally made her warm inside, causing her to become wet with excitement. Sometimes, she would allow his call to go to her voicemail so she could replay it, imagining that he was right next to her, lying in her bed and preparing to make love to her. Just thinking about him made her body shudder with eagerness.
