Quite content

              Ignoring
her comment Toni took a seat at the counter, watching her in silence. Rachel
set a steaming cup in front of Toni and went about making herself another cup. Toni
admired Rachel’s robe, a chenille in sea foam green. It looked so soft it made her
want to touch it, bring it to her face. It complemented Rachel’s coloring, her
thick, glossy brown hair falling around her shoulders.

            “You look quite content this
morning,” Toni said.

“Oh, you mean versus my normal
flying-around-on my- broom?” Rachel teased.

“I don’t think you fly around on a broom.
I just mean you seem mellow, calm, maybe even happy.”
