Bruce Springsteen: As the radio plays... Roy Orbison singing for the lonely

De radio die ik heb getekend heb ik wel even moeten opzoeken op het internet. Ik wilde een radio tekenen die in de jaren zestig werd gebruikt. Het model klopt, maar ik weet niet precies of zulke radio's in Amerikaanse gezinnen gebruikt werden toen. Voor de tekening van Roy Orbison heb ik ook even wat documentatie erbij genomen. Wij hadden daar vroeger een verzamelelpee van thuis. (dat was in de jaren zestig)
The radio that I drew is not any radio. I  found it on the internet. I wanted to draw a radio that was used in the sixties. The model is correct, but I'm not sure whether these were used in American families. For the drawing of Roy Orbison I used some documentation. I wanted it to be him. We had a compilation album of Roy at home. (It belonged to my brother, that was in the sixties)
