I am only a breath away

A whisper in the wind
I am a part of your soul
I am your twin
Beauty is all around
We see it everyday
Your sight has grown blind
To beauty seen, day by day
Hearts grow cold
When vision grows blind
Life taken for granted
Another tick in time
Loss of vision
A heart of stone
Cultivate life without passion
No room for love
A cold heart in black fashion
No room for joy
But

I am only a breath away

A whisper in the wind
I am a part of your soul
I am your twin
Call out my name
Open your eyes
Reach through the mirror
Reset your time
We make our happiness
We make our sorrow
Eyes must be kept open
Seeing beauty everyday
Matters of the heart
Can be washed away
Your soul can be saved
I carry it with me
I watch over and protect
You are the same as me
