Final Print Run

After a long year of writing, writing, writing; I am finally at the last lap. I will do a final print run this week to catch persistent spelling and grammar errors. This is a pretty boring first post to my blog, but I can’t imagine anyone thinks the process of writing a book is interesting. All I did was sit in my chair and hammer out a lot of bad ideas. I tossed the bad one for not-so-bad-ones.

I am still concerned that my ability to track plots and weave an action packed story is very weak. I come from a literary background with a bent toward – gasp – poetry. Plot is the last thing I think about and is starkly absent from many of my favorite books. Time will tell – in any event, even if this thing is a flop, at least it feels good to cross ‘write a novel’ off my bucket list.
