"My mother was a caterpillar. My father was a worm...but I'm okay with that now."
Wherein Jack Admits To Being Worn Out
Everything is set up and ready to go for the 14th, well, after I finish up one last thing. Now all I want to do is sit in the sun and read. (Which is kind of what I've been doing. *Grin*) I think I've short circuited myself and right now I can't think of anymore characters to write about. Therefore, I'm thinking of taking a bit of a break the next day. I shall return on Friday to make sure everything is up and running for the book release.
Until then I leave you with this. A picture of the map of the Seven Kingdoms which will be appearing in the book. (This map was made for me by a friend when I first wrote the book about four years ago. He was the one who helped me the most when I first got the idea for the book. {In other words he did all the hard stuff such as plotting out the layout of the land.} He did an amazing job.)
Second picture was taken by my photographer today. A new author picture for that little slot on the back of the book. (Or on the inside if you are Riley.)
Since my last author picture was taken in the snow with me in my swimsuit by a pool, I figured this time it was only fair for me to wear winter clothing in 80 degree weather. (Summer has finally come to the frozen wasteland.)
Lastly, don't forget there is still time to enter my giveaway for one free, signed copy of my book. If you wish to enter just write a character post and leave a comment on my blog, telling me you've done so. I will enter your name and announce the winner on the 14th.
Also, for my after publication party I am having a...interview...thingy. I will be interviewing fellow authors. If anyone is interested please email me or leave me a comment. You don't have to have a finished or published book to enter. Even if you are working on a book or plotting it I'd love to have you.
Whoever guesses the title quote gets one of John's cookies!
Allons-y!
