Attack of the Killer Story

There’s a moment after I finish a story, one I’ve typed “THE END”, that I’m overcome with doubts. Not about what I’d just written, but about the story to come. The next one that opens with the words “CHAPTER ONE.” It’s the hardest thing, making myself sit back down at the computer with the intent of beginning anew.
