A map of DI Andy Horton's Patch
Some readers have asked for a map of DI Andy Horton's country to be included in the front of the novels. It sounds like a good idea, will have to sound my publisher out about this. Meanwhile I have posted a photograph of the area where the novels are set courtesy of Crown Copyright on my blog
Most of the action in the Horton novels takes place in Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight on the South Coast of England.
The novels are primarily set around Portsmouth Harbour, Langstone and Chichester Harbours and the Isle of Wight. There are now nine in the DI Andy Horton series. Undercurrent was published this year. I've also written two stand alone crime novels not in the Horton series: In Cold Daylight and In For The Kill, both of which as also set in the Solent area.
