The NSA Files – out soon

You have to know, though, that I write fiction. The NSA Files is about a shaman who is hired by the NSA to spy on some politicians and business people using the internet to sway votes in a particularly profitable direction for them. I’ve wanted to write about a shaman for a long time. It’s something I’ve studied and read a lot about, and something that ads a chance to deliver information in a new way. Totem animals, a variety of landscapes, and interesting interpretations all become one flowing piece of work for me in the book. I personally connected with the characters and hope that readers will do the same.
The news has highlighted the NSA in a way that I could not have done. The debate about what they’re doing, I’m sure, will go on for a while. What’s great about writing a novel is that I can ramp up the dramatic aspect all I want and really have fun with the storyline.
Writing is about that fun, to me. I want to write something that I would want to read. I want to play with ideas and concepts as well as emotions and character personalities. I know I had fun writing The NSA Files, and hope that readers will enjoy equally as much.
Watch for the book to come out in less than a week.
