Just finished Seige and Storm and I need to know once and for all ARE YOU TEAM MAL OR TEAM DARKLING? BECAUSE I CANNOT DEAL WITH THIS. WHERE THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO PUT MY FEELS? I think the Darkling has real feelings in him, real love despite all he did.

I’m sad for the feels, but glad for the feels. So I guess, sorry not sorry? ;) But okay, I’ll answer:

I’m not Team Mal.

I’m not Team Darkling.

I’m not even Team Alina.

I’m Team Story.

And yeah, that means no one is safe.

I’m glad (and very grateful) that you care about the characters, but I can’t give you a map. (If I wanted to make it easy I’d just have whomever I wanted you to hate kill a direwolf or something, because I’m sorry, that’s shiz you don’t come back from.)

I like heroes who struggle and screw up. I like bad men who pretend to be good and good men who pretend to be bad. I like good men who have forgotten how to be good.

I’ve sort of been antsy about the release of Siege and Storm because I know middle books are hard on readers who are invested enough to give a damn (and bless you all). I wish I could share everything that’s coming with you, but I can’t. I can only hope that you’ll stick with me til the end.
