Ari McKay’s Trivia Tuesday
Ari and I are huge geeks. HUGE. Ari is more into hard sci fi than I am, and I’m more into horror than she is, but we have a lot of overlap in what we like. Probably the biggest area of overlap is our mutual adoration of Firefly, a show we’ve both watched countless times. So no, keen eyed readers, it’s definitely not a coincidence that in Heart of Stone, the town is named Serenity or that Luke’s last name is Reynolds.
In fact, if you read the description of Luke closely, you might see he looks a lot like this:
I think of Luke as having Mal Reynolds’ wardrobe and Richard Castle’s personality.

We are definitely kindred spirits. I adored firefly and then they cut the series. Mortified! Nathan Fillion... * sigh*

Firefly had EVERYTHING. Nathan is love. ;) And so is Adam Baldwin. And it's just possible a character looking more than a little like Sean Maher might turn up in one of our stories soon... ;)
Ooh happy dance ... can't wait! :D Firefly was Da Bomb! LOL. The film was great too but I wish they'd kept the series going....
Oh, yes, Serenity was great, but it HURT because we knew that was the end. :(McKay and I got to see Jewel Stait (Kaylee) at a sci-fi convention a couple of years ago, and she said that Nathan Fillion's house is FULL of Firefly memorabilia. And that he usually has eps of the series playing on a TV in the background. :D
Lucky you. Kaylee was a fave and I would love to be in Nathan's house, for any reason! :D
So would I, believe me! :D I will neither confirm nor deny being tempted to stalk the man. ;)
